So Aunt Ruthie came and stayed with me last week and I drove her down to LaCygne for an extended weekend break...well, why she stayed with me she opened me up to the world of the homemade "Moo-Latte" sensation! She showed me how to make them at home and now I can't get enough of them...we returned home on Tuesday and I have since made 4 of them! If you are calculating, yes, that means I had TWO IN ONE DAY!!! What did you do to me Ruthie?! LOL! These things are FABULOUS! Thanks for sharing the wealth!

Also, I don't know if I mentioned it before but I did switch my doctor and I have my first appointment with her today. YAY! Oh and I don't know if I mentioned this either but when I got the sonogram done they measured Camden to be large and said that his due date based on his current size would be January 23rd...this really isn't saying much...but ya know...

Oh and Decovin did his first movie quote yesterday in the bathtub. He was playing with his shark and did the infamous: "Duh-dum, Duh-dum, Duh-dum...roooaaarrr"...It was REALLY funny!

So...How do you make a "Moo-late?"
The way Ruthie taught me was to pour milk into the blender (just enough to cover the blades and then a hair more) then add 4 heaping tablespoon scoops of your favorite General Foods International Coffee brand flavoring or some other mix-in powder...blend this first, just enough to mix. Then get about 6-7 ice cubes and set your blender to the ice crush setting and add the ice cubes in one at a time giving enough time in between each cube to get well blended...when done you should have a "frappaccino-like" drink ready to slurp down! SOOOOOO YUMMY!!!!
You can also add a spoonful or two of sugar or faux sugar to taste.
Christy bought a blender today just so she could make some of these! :-) I'm sure for other reasons too...but this was the kick starter! LOL!
Yummy!! It is addictive I must say. I have one to two a day. And for you who like less coffee flavor just put 2 tablespoons of the powder and yes I do add a bit of sugar too.
Love it!
I think daddy must be making the shark run noises so Decovin is just sharing his terror on Mommy.
I remember the silent torpedo that he released back when. (Turds-opedos)lol good times!!
Well...I hate to admit it, but we are now hooked on Moo-latte. Went to the store and bought a few cans of GF Coffee! OMG it is so yummy. It is going to save me money, don't have to go to Sweet Bay and buy my iced Mocha's now!
How did you doctor visit go? Is this the Dr. who was supposed to deliver Decovin but got there after he was born? I had fun last week thanks to you & Christy. Loved it!
I also liked the time spent when Ruthie came with you. Good times!
They are addicting aren't they? I had yet another one this morning myself! Mmmmmmmrific!
The doctor visit went fine. And yes, it is the same doctor. I go back in 4 weeks for the glucose test (YUCK! Last time this almost made me pass out, not looking forward to it at all!). Then I start going every two weeks I think she said. :-) Getting closer!
I am so glad you like the moo latte's knock off. It saves calories too. Especially if you use skim milk. Hugs.
P.S. I like the name game. I think that Camden Rezin David would be extremely cool. How many times do you use the middle names anyway??? Like Michelle's it was a great way to incorporate the names Linda wanted to use. It is OK for sure! (a little valley girl there).
guess who has updated two days in a row.......
Could it be .... Dr. Amanda??? Hooray for me.
I check everytime I am on line to see if anyone else has started MOO LATTE's.
Had one today!!?? Yumm.
I love it soooooo much.
