Update...

Remember when we used to all post all the time and comment all the time? What happened there? Hmmmm....*sniff*

So nothing extremely new to report other than Decovin is finally back to his full self along with his appetite. We went to the base on Thursday and got our flu shots, he wasn't too happy about that...but he got over it pretty fast...I didn't even feel mine until way later in the day and my arm just ached a bit. Other than that...good.

So after a week of being essentially cooped up in the house while D was recovering, I was itchin' to get out on Saturday...see Speechie/Christy's blog for further details on our little outing...:-) It was delicious and wonderful. Nuff, said.

Amanda met up with us after lunch and we made a trip out to Legend's so I could pick up a gift certificate at Cabella's for a family member on Bob's side. :-) Then we just drove around for a bit and then decided to head home...it was fun to see Amanda but I know she was TIRED...she had just gotten off of a 30 hour work shift...she is CRAZY, but she wanted to see us...how sweet! :-) Her company was much appreciated! :-)

Oh and I got Decovin's hair cut at this place that just opened up near Amanda's house called Sports Clips...it was actually a very good hair cut...probably my favorite so far...she cut it really really short on the back to hide his hurricane's (Katrina & Rita)...and it makes him look like a little boy instead of a baby...*sniff, sniff* He's growing up!

Getting excited about Thanksgiving...can't wait! :-) Oh and don't forget to keep checking out Camden's ticker...it changes every Sunday...new funny saying's every week. hehe!

Hey, I wait and wait for comments. There has been a dry spell for sure. I was checking everyday and then with the dry spell I got discouraged and stopped checking only 3 or 4 days later. It would be lovely to find words again.

Still bringing the sweet potatoes?? I am making pepperoni stuffing. It sounds too good not to try. (And I don't like pepperoni usually).

Sweet Potatoe's I will bring! :-) I was actually going to ask if I should bake them there (I will have it all ready to just go in the oven) or bake it hear and then re-heat there? Didn't know how busy your oven would already be and since we can't use the neighbor's oven (*sniff, sniff*) we have to be clever with timing! :-) Who's bringing the rolls?

We're making them today. The only other thing needing the oven is the green bean casserole. The ham says not to heat it up, just individually...I guess it depends on how long your sweet potatoes take to cook.

They take 30-35 minutes...at 350 degrees...
