So I went to the doc yesterday for my "2 week" check-up even though it has only been a week...had to move it up due to the holidays and me not being here and all...anyway...
I am doing fine but Camden is still breech...so I started asking questions:
Question #1: If he doesn't turn (which she says they can turn right up to the last minute), but if he DOESN'T turn what then?
Answer: C-Section
Question #2: So how long of a recovery time are we looking at if I have to have a C-Section?
Answer: 6 weeks, no lifting of anything over 10lbs...no laundry, no vacuuming...etc...There have been some theories (or something worded like this) to women who "plan" a c-section vs. an emergency c-section as far as recovering more quickly than those who labor all day and then have to have one...
Question #3: So, what you are saying is if Camden hasn't turned by week 39 I should go ahead a schedule a c-section?
Answer: Yes, it wouldn't be a bad idea.
Question #4: How many people are allowed in the room for a c-section?
Answer: One, unless I have to be put completely under then no one.
So there you have it...a fun day at the doctor's...*sigh*
TURN CAMDEN, TURN!!! (P.S. Mom, if Camden doesn't turn, can you stay with me during my 6 week recovery? I know that is a lot to ask but I won't be able to be at home alone with a toddler and an infant and not be able to lift 10 pounds!)

Don't worry Jen, everything will work out just fine! Not to be butting in, but if your mom can't stay with you for the entire six weeks I can help out when needed. Maybe we could do every other week or something? Love you! Mendy
Thanks Aunt Mendy! You almost made me cry! I really appreciate that offer and may need to take you up on it...we'll keep you posted...Miss & Love you!
Blast!! I could come if it weren't for the lifting ban I have to observe too!!
I am crossing my fingers that the little tyke will make a move soon.
Hugs.
Of course I can be with you babe. We won't count our chickens though. I think Camden will turn when it is time, so stop the worrying! Everything will work out ok?
Not worrying, just trying to mentally prepare for the possibility of a c-section occurring...
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TOMORROW!
