All for "daddy"

Today, Bob got to hear the baby's heart beat. He said it sounded like a pod of whales...the doctor said she hadn't heard that one before but it didn't surprise her she said coming from a NAVY guy! :-) The baby's heart beat was again at 144/bpm. The doctor informed us that we should have what is called a "2nd level ultrasound" done to check for Downs Syndrome on the baby due to our family history. So I had to do an Alpha Fetoprotein (AFP) blood test first before they could schedule it. OUCH! They had to poke me 3 times before getting a vein! We shall see what the results say! Cross your fingers!
