Went to the doctor today...I had to see one of my doctor's associates as my doc was out of the office. She politely gave me the option of her doing an exam or not...she said some people don't like to bare all to a stranger...I told her that once you have a kid all modesty gets thrown out the window and that I would like to know if I am progressing at all.
She could at least feel his head this week and my cervix is softening but I am not dialating or anything...at least it was better than last week! :-) Yay!

Did she do the "X" with her fingers?? That usually got me started with contractions in the following week.

Basically it is like a sissor action in the area of the mucus plug. That is all I know it felt like an "X". All of the pregnancies I had they performed it. It was not real comfortable.
