When I went to get D out of bed this morning (I heard him playing with some toys, etc) I opened the door and he was still laying in bed under the covers...but I could see his eyes were open. I whispered: "Hi!" and he whispered back: "Hi!" It was so cute! Then I said "Happy Birthday bug, you're two now!" To which he replied: "I two!" :-) He is just a bundle of cuteness I tell ya!
I can't believe my baby is 2 years old now! Where did the time go? It seems like only yesterday I was changing his diaper and cleaning up after him after he ate...oh wait a minute...that WAS yesterday and today and tomorrow! LOL! Seriously though, he has gotten so big and I can't even believe that two years ago I was in the hospital in labor with him. What a memory.
Anyway, having a small get together with the immediate family at Mimi's Cafe for dinner and dessert...should be fun!

Happy Birthday D! Can't wait to see you tonight. Thank you for talking to grandma this morning. You were talkative today. Can't wait until we see you in person and can give you a birthday kiss & hug. Jen, I got an email from our former pastor (Harriett who now lives in Ottawa. She is friends with Grandma Stenzel's neighbor.). She really liked the YouTube movies. I will let you know if I get anymore comments.
